Six steps to epoxy success!
We first use diamond tooling to profile the concrete surface. Unlike acid etching, grinding the surface allows the strongest bond possible.
Once the concrete has been ground, it is cleaned and then divots and cracks are repaired.
Next, the base coat of epoxy is applied to the concrete. The base is a two part epoxy that comes in many different shades.
Colorful chips are hand-broadcast onto the epoxy surface to an even coat.
The flakes are scraped to remove the excess. This is the final step before sealing.
Finally, we apply a UV stable polyaspartic topcoat. Your new floor will be ready for foot traffic the next day!
